A critical element of the National Core Business Strategy of GSUSA is the development of a Girl Scout program model that is tied to a compelling, clearly-stated vision for girls, that is tied to outcomes (benefits) for girls and that can be easily and consistently interpreted to many audiences including parents, girls, funders and volunteers. Below are the GSUSA resolutions concerning the new program model. A great deal of input from girls, volunteers and councils was used to impact the decision making. Phase-in of the new program will not happen until 2008 after materials are developed and field tested. |
