As Girl Scouts – Wilderness Road Council and the Girl Scout Council of Licking Valley work through the process of blending two councils into one “high-capacity” council, we will need the input of many people to make decisions in key areas of operations.  You should know that some critical decisions will be made by the end of 2006, however, many pieces of this blending will continue through 2007-2008.  We want to give you an idea of our expectations of task group members to accomplish this work in the most effective manner. 

• Commitment of time to attend meetings.

• Commitment to complete assignments between meetings.

• Openness to the ideas of others.

• Willingness and ability to travel to another council.

• Commitment to meet deadlines.

• Access to email.

• Understanding and adhering to confidentiality when appropriate.

Task group members will be selected and appointed by the Council Realignment Committee over the next several weeks, although other groups may be needed at a later date.  We currently anticipate the following sub-groups of the Operations Committee:
