Trainings offered by GSWRC are:

• Basic Leadership Training        Orientation and Age Level   
  Available in frequently offered local classes, by special arrangement, or by homestudy video course.            
  2 three hour sessions - required for all troop/group leaders.
• Troop Camp Training-Level 1    Outdoor Program       
  Designed to provide lots of ideas for programs in an outdoor setting
• Troop Camp Training-Level 2     Cookout/Buildings Camping     
  Provides skills necessary to stay in buildings at council camps.
  Prerequisite: TCT1.
• Troop Camp Training-Level 3    Tent Camp Training    
  Builds on skills in levels 1 and 2 with additional skills for tent camping.  Required at least one overnight in camp environment.
• Enrichment Trainings for Leaders   
  May include classes in CPR/First Aid, Songs and Games, Badges and Signs, Earth Matters, Orienteering, Knots and Lashings, Leading Girls to Mathematics, Science and Technology, Challenges and Choices, Preventing Teenage Suicide, Growing Up Female, and many others. 
  Some are available in homestudy video format.
• Color Guard
  This computer based training on flag ceremonies is for both adult and girl training and can be customized to printout ceremonies for specific girls and/or events.  For Windows 95 or Windows 98 operating systems only.

• Service Unit Mini-Training         
  At least five service unit meetings during the year contain trainings for leaders on troop program enrichment and other appropriate topics.
